Hello My Name Is...
Welcome to My Sixth Grade Classroom
I attended high school in Greenville, SC. I attended Appalachian State University and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in mathematics. My teaching career began 22 years ago at Fred L. Wilson Elementary School. I moved with 5th grade when KIS was formed and taught fifth grade for 5 more years. I am currently in my seventh year as a sixth grade teacher.
I enjoy a busy life with my husband and two daughters. My hobbies are reading and scrapbooking. My most common "hobby" is cleaning up after my husband and children.?!? :)
Feel free to contact me by email email@example.com or by school phone at (704) 932-4161.

All children can learn and excel. It is our job to help them explore and question their world, seek an education, and prepare for their future.
Things parents/guardians can do to help:
- Check homework folders and planners each night for important information.
- Weekly papers are sent home every Tuesday to be signed and returned.
-These links will allow you to look up the lexile or guided reading level of a book and determine if it is an appropriate reading level for your student.
